Magnesium Glycinate Sleep Stack combines one well-tolerated magnesium source with two complementary ingredients commonly used in evening routines. Each two-capsule serving provides 1,250 mg of magnesium glycinate, yielding 175 mg of elemental magnesium, plus 200 mg of L-theanine and 50 mg of apigenin.
A long ingredient list is not automatically a stronger formula. When limited capsule space is divided among many ingredients, each may be present in only a token amount. This formula stays focused on three ingredients and the quantity of each is stated separately.
Magnesium glycinate
Why glycinate fits an evening formula.
Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in normal muscle and nerve function, energy production and hundreds of enzyme systems. Magnesium glycinate binds magnesium to the amino acid glycine, creating a chelated form that is generally well tolerated and less likely than some forms to produce a pronounced laxative effect.
Glycine participates in inhibitory signaling, and isolated glycine has also been studied as part of bedtime routines. That combination of digestive tolerability and an amino acid associated with calming physiology makes magnesium glycinate a natural fit for an evening formula.
The weight of the complete magnesium glycinate compound is not the amount of magnesium it supplies. Supplement Facts panels declare elemental magnesium: the magnesium portion delivered by the compound.
Adult magnesium recommendations range from 310 to 420 mg per day depending on age and sex. Those recommendations refer to elemental magnesium from food and supplements—not the larger weight of a magnesium compound.

Compare the elemental amount, solubility, digestive tolerance and intended use together. These are practical distinctions—not a universal ranking for every person.

Why magnesium L-threonate costs more
The best-known magnesium L-threonate ingredient, Magtein®, is proprietary and licensed. It is also only about 7–8% elemental magnesium by weight: a typical 2,000 mg amount provides roughly 144 mg of elemental magnesium and often requires three or four capsules. Its price reflects branded ingredient costs, specialized manufacturing and the larger compound quantity required—not simply a larger dose of magnesium.
L-theanine
Calm support without making the formula needlessly complicated.
L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in tea and widely used to support a calm, relaxed state without being a sedative. It has been studied in adults for relaxation, stress and sleep quality.
The 200 mg included in each serving is a meaningful quantity used in human studies and commonly found in focused evening formulas.
Apigenin
The specific flavonoid rather than a variable chamomile extract.
Apigenin is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in chamomile and other plants. It is one of the compounds most closely associated with chamomile’s traditional place in evening routines.
Using 50 mg of apigenin states the quantity of the specific flavonoid. A chamomile-extract amount alone cannot tell you how much apigenin the serving actually contains.
Why combine them
A focused formula can replace three separate bottles.
Magnesium glycinate supplies an essential mineral in a form well suited to evening use. L-theanine complements it with calm-state support, while apigenin provides the specific flavonoid associated with chamomile.
Combining the three saves the time, cost and capsule count of assembling them separately. The result is a deliberate sleep-support formula rather than a crowded blend built around a long list of token ingredients.
